A vector of quantitative variables is a one-dimensional set of numerical values where each value is positioned along a range.
For example, if a house has 120m2 of living space and is built on 600m2 of land, these two facts make up a vector of continuous variables that describe it. Quantitative variables can either be discrete (e.g. number of customer complaints) or continuous (e.g. size of a field).
